I must admit. I did not believe it. Not ever. For years the Palestinians have been accusing Israeli authorities of harvesting organs from them and others in the area. I thought it was ghoulish nonsense and anti-Israeli propaganda. Now it turns out to be true. An Israeli doctor in an interview on Israeli television Channel Two has admitted that it is true and that is corroborated by government probe findings of that interview done in the year 2000.
In a Sphere blog story entitled Palestinians Demand Probe of Israeli Organ-Harvesting we learn that Israel has admitted as of yesterday that in the 1990s they harvested organs from dead Palestinian bodies. Actually, much more ghoulish charges have been made against Israel than this relative to organ harvesting. We must wait and see if an investigation is forthcoming.
This is important because these stories have been floating around for years. I never took them seriously. I was wrong. What is wrong with ourselves, our allies, our reasoning powers? Where is our soul?
