In today’s New York Times there is an article entitled Man Claims Terror Ties in Little Rock Shooting which shows us the emerging criminal “abuse” of the legal system by psychopaths and their sociopathic cousins.
These are erstwhile jihadists all, who are now beginning to claim Al Qaeda or other jihadist affiliations when carrying out murders inside the USA. According to some commenters, including family members of the alleged murderers, they are doing this to elevate their crimes to the level of holy war.
In this case, this convict is a born-in-America jihadist wannabe, according to his father.
The thinking here seems to be one of placing the best face on a heinous act of inhumanity. Better to be seen as a jihadist when executed by the state and therefore becoming a martyr within Islam than simply being electrocuted because one is a run-of- the-mill murderer, mourned and eulogized by nobody.
Is there no end to the crazy maze that a human mind will construct within itself to rationalize even the most violent and inhuman acts? Now we have American “converts” to Islam committing out and out murders for reasons that can be identified and understood only by other sociopaths and then trying to claim that they are doing it “for Islam”.
I happen to know quite a few Muslims personally. They all live here in the U.S. and most are citizens. Not one of them that I know would buy into this reasoning. Not one.
These are pretty decent people. Many live in the same building that I live within. They are hard working, nose to grindstone types. They are humiliated by all these claims of jihad by various sociopaths who commit barbaric crimes in the name of Islam both here and abroad. They don’t recognize this type of Islam as valid. I don’t blame them.
The only jihad that these phonies are waging is the one against the American and the international judicial systems that they are assualting. Even an infidel can see that.
