A very important article for active duty combat soldiers appears today in New Scientist online.  The article is entitled Drug could turn soldiers into super-survivors and basically, the title speaks for itself.  If this turns out to be practical for use on humans, the survival rate among injured Service men and women with combat wounds would increase dramatically.
