Rush Limbaugh’s Anti-Semitic Idiocy OK, He Supports Militarism

First, Rush Limbaugh makes a bone-headed statement about Jews and bankers correctly drawing condemnation from the ADL. “Rush Limbaugh reached a new low with his borderline anti-Semitic comments about Jews as bankers, their supposed influence on Wall Street, and how they vote,” said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director.

Now, The Forward reports today: Limbaugh Praised by Jewish Groups, though a more accurate headline would be: Militaristic Rightwingers Love Rush.

Of-course, Christianite extremists assaulting tolerance and pluralism in America and banishing Jews and other non-believers to hellfire are no longer impediments to support by Israeli militarists and their allies in America. The Forward reports: “The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) issued a statement directly slamming the ADL’s Abraham Foxman for his criticisms of Limbaugh. ‘The ZOA is also surprised by Foxman’s attack because not only were Rush Limbaugh’s comments not anti-Semitic, but Rush Limbaugh is in fact one of Israel’s strongest supporters,’ the ZOA said in a statement.”

Here is what Limbaugh said as recounted by Foxman: “Limbaugh told his listeners: ‘To some people, banker is a code word for Jewish; and guess who Obama is assaulting?  He’s assaulting bankers.  He’s assaulting money people.  And a lot of those people on Wall Street are Jewish. So I wonder if there’s – if there’s starting to be some buyer’s remorse there.'”

See for most, Judaism is about principles and ethical action, and not a finance course. But Limbaugh and apparently the Israeli militarists have no problems with the later description no matter its undeniable historical imprecation. Anything for war!
