For some reason, somebody in the French Air Force decided that it was a good idea to stand on a runway and allow a Dassault Mirage F1 fighter jet to fly over his head at about three feet above his melon. Another guy, also apparently a member of the French Air Force, decided to film this extremely daring and extremely stupid stunt.
The video of this incredibly useless display of Gallic bravery is here for you to see. Lets call it Dassault Mirage F1 Flyby With Strangely Brave Airman Awaiting His Death.
And I thought that the U.S. was the only country that wasted money on this sort of machismo for reasons that defy explanation.
Do the French have this kind of money to waste?
