In the Poll Watch section of Politics Daily we find out that this is without doubt going to be one hell of an election cycle in 2010!  The majority of likely voters in this country seem to think our politicians are ineffective at the very least.  To say that most Americans feel that the government is all tied up in knots is an understatement.

This Fall is going to be one interesting time of year for anyone with a political bent.  Apparently, anything could happen.

What a country!

The piece is entitled Six in 10 Voters Disapprove of the Job Both Parties Are Doing in Congress.  Here is an excerpt:

“Sixty-seven percent blame both parties equally for the gridlock in Washington, while 17 percent single out the Republicans and 12 percent blame the Democrats. Forty-six percent say Democrats are pushing legislation without considering the Republicans’ point of view while 37 percent say Republicans are misusing the threat of the filibuster to stall action. Seventeen percent are undecided. Independents come down on the side of blaming Democrats by about the same margin as the overall public.”

This speaks volumes.  The problem is, I don’t understand exactly what it says.  And apparently no one else does either.
