The Disabled Veterans National Foundation was established in 2007 with the idea of giving “hope for heroes”.

The Foundation was established by six women veterans and State Women Veterans Coordinators to expand their scope of work within the veteran’s community.  The Foundation is operated on donations from the public and holds various fund raiser activities throughout the year dedicated to raising money for their cause.
The DVNF dedicates itself to helping returning wounded and disabled veterans which are under a higher demand with the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The Foundation ensures that the men and women who served our country are getting the services promised to them by a grateful nation.  With the high volume of wounded and disabled veterans returning from combat, the VA hospitals and care network had been struggling to keep up.   The DVNF is here help these veterans find the necessary resources to navigate a complex and bureaucratic VA system in order to receive benefits, counseling, and direct care.
The DVNF is reaching out to our talented veterans to offer positions of employment. They are looking for qualified veterans to dedicate themselves to paying positions which can help fulfill the mission statement of the DVNF. To help change the lives of men and women who came home wounded or sick after defending our safety and our freedom.
Help achieve this mission by:

  • Providing direct services to disabled veterans and their families where needed.
  • Collaborating with like-minded organizations to provide those services whenever it is in the best interests of veterans and their families.
  • Paying particular attention to the needs of underserved groups of veterans, including women who served our country, homeless veterans, and those who suffer such
invisible wounds as brain injuries and PTSD.
  • Working on our own and with other organizations to advance the interests of all disabled veterans and their families.
