By Randy Miller

VAe’s mission is to equip America’s veterans with the skills necessary to build a successful career path in the electronic manufacturing services industry (EMS). Graduates of their program complete all five industry standard IPC certifications, and all modules, during six-weeks of intensive classroom and laboratory training held in a manufacturing facility, and conducted by authorized IPC trainers. Upon graduation, each veteran is certified for:

  • · ANSI/J-STD-001 w/DS (Soldered Electrical & Electronic Assembly)
  • · IPC-A-600G (Acceptability of Printed Boards)
  • · IPC-A-610E (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)
  • · IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Harness Assemblies)
  • · IPC 7711/7721 (Rework, Repair, and Modification of Printed Circuit Boards)

VAe also provides career preparation and placement for every veteran who completes the program.
