DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

                Valero Marketing and Supply Co., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a maximum $180,745,475 fixed-price with economic price adjustment, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, for aviation turbine fuel.  Other location of performance is Corpus Christi, Texas.  Using service is Defense Logistics Agency Energy.  The original proposal was Web-solicited with five responses.  The contract is for one base year with no additional options.  The date of performance completion is Oct. 30, 2011.  The Defense Logistics Agency Energy, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-11-D-0450).

                US Foodservice, Fairburn, Ga., is being awarded a maximum $49,520,728 fixed-price with economic price adjustment, sole-source, prime vendor, bridge contract for food and beverage support.  There are no other locations of performance.  Using services are Army and Air Force.  The original proposal was Web-solicited with three responses.  The date of performance completion is Oct. 16, 2011.  The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM300-10-D-3401).

                Sysco Foodservice of Sysco Alabama, Calera, Ala., is being awarded a maximum $22,500,000 fixed-price with economic price adjustment, sole-source, prime vendor, bridge contract for food and beverage support.  There are no other locations of performance.  Using services are Army, Navy, and Air Force.  The original proposal was Web-solicited with one response.  The date of performance completion is Oct. 16, 2011.  The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM300-10-D-3410).

NAVY

                Booz Allen Hamilton, Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $44,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for readiness and metrics support for the fleet readiness enterprise and warfare enterprises.  Work will be performed in various locations in the continental United States, and is expected to be completed January 2011.  Contract funds will not expire before the end of the fiscal year.  This contract was competitively awarded through the Navy Electronic Commerce Online and Federal Business Opportunities websites, with three offers received.  The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N00189-08-D-0022).

                Progeny Systems Corp.*, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $9,475,409 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing for the development and modification of client server applications that provide access to non-propulsion electronic systems on USS Virginia class submarines and various commercial off-the-shelf subsystems.  This requirement includes the establishment of a “fly away” team and associated equipment to support the required timely service worldwide.  This one-year contract includes four one-year options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to a potential $49,904,517.  Work will be performed in Portsmouth, Va. (50 percent), and Groton, Conn. (50 percent), and is expected to be completed Oct. 14, 2011.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured as this award constitutes a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program Phase III follow-on effort to continue development of subsystems developed under Phase II.  This award is derived from and extends efforts performed under prior SBIR funding agreements and is authorized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(b)(2) or 41 U.S.C. 253(b)(2).  The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific is the contracting activity (N66001-11-D-0030).
