Constitutional Ignorance from the Tea Party

Christine O'Donnell, Republican Senate nominee in Delaware

First Amendment Eludes Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell

By Joan Walsh in Salon

Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell revealed her abominable ignorance in a debate with Chris Coons where she sounded like a grade-schooler having her first encounter with our Constitution. Coons tells her the First Amendment guarantees “Government shall make no establishment of religion,” and O’Donnell counters with shock: “That’s in the First Amendment?” So sad.

Healthcare is a privilege only for the conservative…..all but mental health anyway.

The Attorney General of the United States never read the Obama health care bill either, I guess that makes him sort of dummy.

In a speech last spring, Noam Chomsky, said that he had never seen anything like this (the Tea Party) in his life. His speech was about fascism in America.

And don’t forget that the Dubya said that the Constitution was just a piece of paper.

I live in Delaware where she’s running for office. All I could think of was didn’t she go to school? If she doesn’t know the Constitution, I don’t believe she’ll uphold it.
