VA Flubs Headline on VA Chairs Murray and Miller

A headline sent out by the U.S. Dept of Veterans Affairs (DVA) misleads readers and editors with the head reading: “Miller, Murray Both Concerned About Vets Spending,” though the two VA chairs have opposing public positions on the VA and Veterans Benefit Administration (VBA) spending.

The U.S. Dept of Veterans Affairs (DVA) sends a list of veteran-related news summaries and links almost daily.

The compilation is contracted out to a private third party with an unknown agenda, but with its recent focus on national American Legion pieces, it appears the DVA-released info is drifting to the anti-veteran right.

Ingrained cynicism makes us question whether the misleading headline supplied by the VA was purposefully drafted to misinform readers or a simple editorial mistake.
