DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Hurst, Texas, is being awarded a maximum $95,946,830 firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract for various assembly parts. There are no other locations of performance. Using service is Army. There was originally one proposal solicited with one response. The date of performance completion is Jan. 31, 2014. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (SPRRA1-11-D-0027).

Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc., Tustin, Calif., is being awarded a maximum $36,000,000 fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for radiology systems, subsystems and components. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. The original proposal was Web-solicited with 43 responses. The date of performance completion is Feb. 3, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM2D1-09-D-8322).

ARMY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded on Jan. 31 an $18,086,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The award will provide for PATRIOT Advanced Capability-3 software modernization development for the United Arab Emirates. Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 31, 2013. One bid was solicited with one bid received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, AMCOM, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-07-G-0001).

AeroVironment, Inc., Monrovia, Calif., was awarded on Jan. 31 a $7,623,215 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The award will provide for two month of Raven operator training and six months of Raven contractor logistics support. Work will be performed in Simi Valley, Calif., with an estimated completion date of July 31, 2011. One bid was solicited with one bid received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, AMCOM, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-05-C-0338).

NAVY

Canadian Commercial Corp., General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada, Ontario, Canada, is being awarded an $8,272,652 firm-fixed-priced modification under previously awarded contract (M67854-07-D-5028) for the procurement of 691 block upgrade kits for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles to include the following items: heater guard assembly; remote weapon station joystick; route clearance vehicle fire control unit bracket; government furnished equipment power; delivery order seven route clearance vehicle digirack; photo luminescent egress tape; modular ammunition restraint system bracket; t-case cooler protection; t-case cooler electrical connector; data plates; delivery order seven specific labels and decals; and roxtec cover. Work will be performed in Benoni, South Africa, and is expected to be completed December 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
