AFSA Endorses USAA Insurance, Banking, Investment Products and Services

SAN ANTONIO – One of USAA’s first military alliance relationships is growing stronger as USAA becomes the Air Force Sergeants Association’s (AFSA) preferred provider of USAA Bank and investment products and services the organizations announced today.

The new arrangement gives thousands of AFSA members access to USAA financial services, including banking, investments and financial planning. AFSA and USAA’s relationship started in March 2010, when AFSA signed an agreement making USAA the preferred provider of property and casualty products such as auto, homeowners and valuable personal property insurance.

According to AFSA CEO, retired Chief Master Sgt. John R. “Doc” McCauslin, USAA’s deepening relationship with AFSA is part of USAA’s efforts to be the provider of choice for people who are serving or have honorably served in the nation’s Air Force.

McCauslin said the growing relationship between the association and USAA is important because it provides eligible AFSA members one-stop shopping for their insurance, banking and investment needs with a provider well-known for customer service.

According to retired Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Eric Benken, USAA Military Affairs Air Force Programs manager and lifetime AFSA member, expanding the relationship between these two like-minded organizations is important to both.

“AFSA members want to do business with an organization that understands their unique needs and is committed to doing the right thing for its members, and USAA works hard to be the provider of choice for the military and veteran community and their families,” Benken said. “Growing the relationship is a natural fit for both AFSA and USAA.”
