Join Hundreds of Thousands Who Have Offered Words of Support and Gratitude

Lenexa, Kan.  – Americans can share personal notes of encouragement and thanks through Applebee’s Honor a Veteran Web site this Memorial Day weekend. As Americans honor fallen U.S. soldiers this holiday, the Web site helps connect Veterans and civilians with one another – today and every day.

Since Applebee’s launched the Web site in conjunction with Veterans Day in 2010, more than 530,000 people have written messages of support and gratitude for veterans, active duty military and fallen heroes. The site complements Applebee’s other efforts to support the military, including its annual commitment to providing a free meal to Veterans and active duty military which started nationwide in 2009. In the past two years, Applebee’s has provided more than two million free meals as a way to say “thank you”.
