Clown Act Sarah Palin MIA for Veterans Turns Rolling Thunder into Rolling Blunder
by Jack McBride
As a Veteran I am deeply hurt and saddened that Rolling Thunder was duped by Sarah Palin. At the rally this past weekend there were many talented notable artists and other high profile people. They chose to sit in the line quietly with a somber reflection and wait to start out on the ride to not only honor all vets, but the POW and MIA.
How is it that Sara Palin would be of any help?
It is true that in the past her 2008 running mate, John McCain, made reference to POW’s and MIA. Heck, he was a POW himself. Now if John Mcain is not shouting out and demanding that we get our Veterans back, what is she going to accomplish?
McCain is not voicing his opinion in earnest to the American people? He at every chance is not saying we demand a full account of any and all POW’s and MIA. McCain of all people should demand daily and often to support Rolling Thunder so the ride of Veterans would be a celebration of a bitter sweet victory so our POW and MIA can rest in peace knowing we did not let them down.
Almost 50 years and not enough, never enough is done.
If 58,000 dead Vietnam Veterans would have raised their hands and said take me to the Hanoi Hilton, what would have happened to the war and America?
What If in some of the worst battles in Vietnam had we, under extreme pressure and intense firefights, said we surrender! Take us as a POW!
How is John McCain a hero for giving up?
He was issued a service revolver and a shoulder holster?
As a Vietnam Vet I felt I needed to speak out on the Palin Circus at the rally.
Is John McCain the ring master?
Sarah Palin on her bus tour and at the rally of the POW and MIA said that she is reminding people of the constitution and being a great american.
She says this to Veterans at a rally of fallen comrades with a smile.
Does she know her audience?
No veteran needs to be reminded by this women in anything related to the military and/or American history.
She needs to visit grade schools with her wisdom and vast knowledge not the Vets of any war?
