Libyan Rebels

A Libyan rebel fighter dashes over a street to evade sniper fire in Zawiya, some 40 kms west of Tripoli, as rebel forces staged an assault on regime forces in the city’s main square on August 19, 2011. Libyan rebels claimed to have taken two more key objectives in their advance on Tripoli, including the refinery town of Zawiya, as people scrambled to flee the increasingly isolated capital.
