The following Commencement address was delivered by Steve Jobs at Stanford University on June 12, 2005

WOW!
While we honor this iconoclast for his peerless techno-visionary, for his passions, for his spirit of love, there is something else we must also ponder upon: The Legacy.
No, not what is captured in his commencement speech. And no not what all the presidents in the world, of nations and corporations, and nor all the tens of millions of iphone and ipad users in the world, soon to be billions, are remembering him for.
This legacy is the seduction of, and the fascination with, technology which has enabled The Technetronic Era
Steve Jobs was surely among its Greatest Master Builders – and I surmise that to his last breadth, he remained unaware of it!
Just as unaware as the rest of us who “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”
