Le printemps érable, Quebec’s Maple Spring, began as a student strike but it has bloomed into yet another citizens’ movement in the worldwide protest against the theft of our governments from our democratic control by the kleptocrats and war mongers who have imposed their illegitimate power through mainstream media that perverts the news to elevate criminal cartels disguised as governments. The Quebec government of Jean Charest raised the ante by passing an emergency measure law, Bill 78, that criminalizes many forms of assemby and expression.
