The USN currently fields a plethora of carriers, amphibious assault ships and landing ships, transport docks, armed cruisers, destroyers and frigates as well as potent submarines. Additionally, she maintains a powerful mobile air arm showcasing the FA-18 “Hornet” and “Super Hornet” multirole aircraft as well as specialized warfare platforms, dedicated trainers, transports and helicopters for various roles.
