Software Engineer (Cloud/Mobile)
Position Summary:
Looking for talented self-motivated Web/Cloud/Mobile developers to design, develop, and maintain graphics applications and support systems for the Web, cloud computing, and mobile devices.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS or a minimum of 60 college credits in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in object-oriented programming languages such as C++, Java, or Objective-C.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle including, but not limited to, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- A self-starter who is motivated to take ownership of projects and drive tasks to completion.
- Strong interest in learning about and using the latest technologies.
Great if you have:
- Experience with Agile Scrum and Test Driven Development
- All around development skills in software and systems: C++, Python, command line, build systems, test systems, etc.
- Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interface to back-end systems as well as all points in between.
- Ability to identify and resolve security holes in various components written in Python and C++.
- Cloud development experience, particularly with Amazon AWS.
- iOS development experience.
Software Engineer
Position Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain user features for an internationally leading computer-aided design (CAD) application. Development areas include 2D and 3D graphics, rendering, imaging, Mac and Windows specific development, embedded worksheet, native text engine, localization, digital terrain modeling, industry-specific compenents, and much more.
Education and Experience:
- BS or a minimum of 60 college credits in Computer Science or a related field.
Skills Required:
- Practical knowledge of one or more platforms and operating systems, and of programming languages such as C and C++
- Knowledge of computer graphics, architecture, user interface, geometric algorithms a plus.
