A Short “One Take” Video, No Cuts

By Gordon Duff and “Mr. Fluffy”

As some may note, we keep a link to Henry Rifles on each VT article.  There is a reason for that, perhaps a couple.

Henry has well over a century of history and typifies everything great about gun ownership and products manufactured in America.

I have a number of favorite weapons, older Belgian HiPowers, the 9mm Ruger workhorse, the P 89 or my punched out .44 Special Model 28 Smith.

For something genuinely American, it has to be lever action.  Another issue is real factory service, personal contact on a phone call, proven designs, hand workmanship, if I see another “compact/poly” semi-automatic pistol, I will throw up.

I am a believer in gun ownership.  I have no problem if people want to own fully automatic weapons and burn through ammunition.

I had found a Browning Automatic Rifle, a military BAR in Vietnam back in 69, buried in a paddy dike.  I probably would like another, it had a certain rugged charm, the 30-06 cartridge, the odd bolt configuration, the incredible range and accuracy.

If  you couldn’t shoot someone, you could drop it on their foot.

With Henry, the message is simple, rediscovering truly American firearms, owning tradition and owning weapons that are meant to be passed on to generations, rather than end up peddled at a gun show.
