Career Education Fair held for Veterans in Buffalo New York

BUFFALO, N.Y. – A healthcare system in WNY hosted its second annual employment and education fair for Veterans on Saturday.
VA Western New York Healthcare System held “Hire a Hero” at Freedom Hall in Buffalo allowing employers to participate in the opportunity to hire our nations heroes.
Veteran owned, federal agencies, and privately owned businesses were available at this weekend’s event. Veterans were able to meet with employers and learn about education opportunities available through local colleges.
Last year, over 300 Veterans attended the career fair.
