Breaking: Three New Boston Bombing Arrests

Three Roommates of  Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Now in Custody

Update: 8:07pm EST. CNN.  “About a month before the marathon attack, Tsarnaev had told Kadyrbayev and Tazhayakov “that he knew how to make a bomb,” according to an FBI affidavit recounting the charges. Kadyrbayev told investigators that Tsarnaev “appeared to have given himself a short haircut” two days after the bombings.”
These guys disposed of a laptop, a jar of vaseline and a backpack which contained all the empty fireworks which appears to be where the ‘black powder’ came from. They knew when they found it that Tamerlane was involved in the bombing, but really they have already recognized Tamerlan from the FBI photos put out. The cops spent two days looking for it until finding in the landfill. The laptop is still missing, or the cops are being quiet about it.
Dzhokhar and Kadyrbayev changed their facebook photos within 15 minutes of each other the early April 19th while Dzhokhar was on the run. Federal investigators claim Dzhokhar has told them that Tamerlane was the mastermind of the attack.
Update 11:01pm EST. His body remains unclaimed at the morgue.  His wife say she wants his family to claim it. This is an indication that no one in the family wants to claim the body to have an independent examination to show that the dead guy is a double, or has and injuries inconsistent with the police reports.
Witness statements and interviews are flowing now. They will own the story for the rest of the week.

Update, 05-02, 3:46pm EST: Tamerlan’s widow agrees to release body to his family. Medical examiner office says it will release their report after the body is claimed.

The FBI is now holding three of Dzhokhar’s college roommates and are expected to be charged with aiding and harboring Dzhohar after the fact. Two were arrested a few days ago, it appears initially in immigration violations.
This is raising the profile that these student visas are a four lane highway opening in Homeland Security which still does not seem to have an effective method of keeping track of foreign student visas, even from hot spot countries. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Americana are under routine surveillance, courtesy of the Patriot Act.
The charges are said to involve removing items from Dzhokar’s room, specifically a backpack. Investigators have been searching an area landfill  for a missing laptop and more explosives that may have also been removed. If these kids did this they are in a load of hurt as these would be serious charges.
There has been no suggestion that the three had prior knowledge of the attack, or had participated in any preparation…at this time.

Sources are now telling us that the flash burns and large laceration of the left chest are consistent with a pipe bomb mishap…as in being shot in the arm while preparing to throw it, dropping it, and then it going off while leaning over to pick it up.
