In a Goebbelian reality, where regimes claiming to be democracies do nothing but misinform, cheat, and spy on their citizens, it is difficult to deduce what is really happening in their latest war. Especially, when the Western last bastion in this event is quivering badly. Aleppo is falling. The international coalition attacking Syria has panicked.

Two events that took place on June 21 and 22, 2013, bear strong signs that something went wrong in Syria. A couple of years ago, I told the West over my website, that Syria is neither Libya nor (I added later) Mali; alas, they didn’t listen.
A legitimate regime answered an attack of well-equipped mercenaries that was sporadically helped by the air forces of Israel and Turkey. A legitimate regime is holding strong for over two years. In the last months, the wheel is turning against the aggressors.
In a strong indication that Syria received Russian S300 missiles, which limited Western air support of the mercenaries, the latter suffered recently a series of military setbacks (see After Syria, Begging Assassin Attacks Turkey).
On June 7, the Syrian Army regained control of Qusair, a strategic city on the northern border between Syria and Lebanon. On June 10, Syria opened an offensive against Aleppo, the country’s second city, its commercial heart and the last significant stronghold of the mercenaries.
On Friday 22, the spokesman for the mercenary Free Syrian Army said that they have begun a new offensive in the northern city of Aleppo. Considering that they are supposed to have control in Aleppo, this is a strange statement. Imagine the USA Army Spokesman saying: “we have begun a new offensive on Washington.”
The mercenaries are being slowly subjugated.

While the mercenaries were nonchalantly disclosing their defeat, Qatar’s PM Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber al-Thani said “providing arms may be the only means of achieving peace.” Yes, sure, “War is Peace.”
Our friend, another obvious fan of Orwell—though from the evil side—wasn’t speaking over a cup of coffee with Mr. Cameron. The warmongering words were uttered during a formal meeting of foreign ministers of the Friends of Syria group that took place in Qatar on June 21 and 22.
The group includes Qatar, US, Britain, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan. Israel sent several cheerleaders.
Let me use the graphical directness of the Hebrew language to clarify the issue. What would you say if it were discovered that in 1940, Germany, Italy and Japan had created the “Friends of the USA Group?”
Also here, the truth was buried under a lot of Orwellian jargon, Western leaders only language. The Friends of Syria can claim to be friends since they have not attacked it directly yet.
However, this is the result of two true friends of Syria—Russia and China—having made clear that they would impose veto on any UN resolution to attack Syria.
The reason for their urgent meeting was the same that motivated the mercenaries’ odd declaration abovementioned. The Western last bastion in Syria is quivering, shivering, and on the verge of experiencing a Richter 10 earthquake.
The friendly brutes released a joint statement in which the members had agreed to “provide urgently all necessary materiel and equipment to the opposition on the ground, each country in its own way in order to enable them to counter brutal attacks by the regime and its allies.” The key word is “urgently;” the West is losing ground rapidly.
I want to quote a short text from a document formally entitled: “CHARTER OF THE UNITED NATIONS AND STATUTE OF THE INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE.”
Clause 4 of Article 1 reads: “All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.
Friends of Syria, I have no idea who are your friends. I just know that you are the UN enemies; at least for as long as that organization does not obey you blindly. Oh, the wonders of Western democracies!
Mr. Cameron, Mr. Obama, Mr. Netanyahu, and allies, do you really think you can lie to all the people all the time? Why do you promote eternal worldwide war? Why you have never lived in peace with your neighbors? Why don’t you respect the principles of your own laws? Why do you lie to the people? Shoo! Kishta! Please, just go away! We, the people, don’t like your worldwide warmongering.
