If You Want to Control a Gun, Buy the Gun

After 2 weeks of part buying, Uncle Gordie and Uncle Mikey have a “build day.”  The outcome, as seen on the video, will be interesting.  All VT builds are available to readers through normal FFL channels at marginal and often unaffordable costs.  We love building these but storing them is something else.  Consider taking a few off our hands.

My own impressions were the balance on the Mosin.  With an optic, the balance will be perfect.  22 inches of bbl. will give ballistic performance.  We are picking up top line Mosin’s only, perfect bores, bright and crisp.  It looks like a hunting weapon but with the ATI stock, this is a great feel for a SWAT sniper as well.

Contact Mike directly at [email protected].  Chet’s Firearms is in Howell, Michigan.

The first out of the box is the 18 inch UBR AR.  Without the optic, this is very balanced.  I am going to play with optics on this and will try a cantilevered quick release with some height on it with maybe a Nikon or Banner (Bushnell).   I will see how I get along with this.  If interested, this is a thousand dollar weapon without optic.  I have several unfired stainless ARs, one with Midwest G2 12 inch rail.  It is less pricey.

I also have one in 300 blackout with FN Cold Hammer Forged Barrel and Midwest G2 rail.

The two Sig pistols you see have several brothers and sisters, 10, 8 and 7.5 inch in 300 blackout and .556.  All have SigTacs and are premium to super-premium.

As for the Tennessee Arms lower, I did some cleanup on that a week ago, minor molding issues.  It has brass inserts but also has a DPMS lower kit with excellent trigger.  As for weight, ease of loading magazines and trigger, key utility issues with AR weapons, they do very well.

The 7.5 inch stainless barrel 5.56 shown in the video is available from Chet’s Firearms for $799 + $25 shipping. A Mosin Nagant like the one in the video sells for $425 without an optic, but with the rail to mount an optic installed. We have various optics available at varying prices. Contact Mike if interested in ordering one. They can be made with 18, 20, or 22 inch barrels, or the barrel can be left at the stock 27.5 inches for a reduction in price of $40. (No muzzle brake with the full length barrel) We can also mount the rifle in an Archangel stock with removable magazine instead of the Monte Carlo for an additional $110. The other guns shown are also available for purchase, but we have not figured prices for them yet. We also have AR pistols starting at $499 and AR rifles starting at $529. Contact Mike at Chet’s Firearms for the details.

We have a few more Mosin’s available for hunting season.  Get with Mike about having one built.  If so, get your ammo now, it is dirt cheap.  These are tremendous fun to shoot.

We are licensed and anything we send out has to go to an FFL unless in for pickup in Howell. Pistols, and the SigTac’s are legally pistols, can only be transferred directly to Michigan residents or sent to FFL’s in your state for transfer.  Rifles can be transferred inside Michigan if you are visiting.

Do not buy anything that is illegal to own in your state.  We cannot sell it to you.

Please note that though SigTac “pistols” look like short barreled rifles and perhaps too much like small machine-guns, they are legally simple pistols and require no special licensing other than that required by any other pistol.  SigTac “pistols” all include KAK Industry buffer tubes and flash cans.  These are not inexpensive and allow the weapons to be fired as rifles safely and competently where other set ups, short tubes and flash suppressors, normal to AR pistols, are not recommended.   This is us being responsible.

Nothing goes in and out of a vehicle like a SigTac pistol.  Nothing on earth is as dangerous as a .300 blackout with an 8 inch barrel and 100 round drum, where legal, which is almost everywhere in the US.  However, even I do not own such a thing.

Visa and Mastercard accepted with 3% charge (excuse that please).

For Mosin/SKS owners, we can take down a barrel quickly, do perfect crowning and threading.  An SKS is a much nicer carry with a 16.5 inch barrel and a simple suppressor.  These are really lovely weapons.

We have an outstanding 16 inch SKS in ATI folding stock with NcStar optic.  This is quite a nice thing.  This is a great SKS, good installation and excellent optic mount. This is being offered through Chet’s for $499 + $25 shipping.
