San Jose (SJO) International airport : You can easily drive to the Central Pacific, the South Pacific and the Caribbean.

Caribbean :  We would love to welcome you to the local vibe of hot and ultra- relaxed lifestyle on the Caribbean beaches of Puerto Viejo, Manzanillo, Cahuita, Playa Negra, Cocles, Playa Chiquita and Punta Uva. You’ll love the taste of the Caribbean in 3 ½ hour drive from San Jose airport.

North Pacific : A ½ hour drive will take you to the beaches of Playa Ocotal, Playa Coco, Playa Hermosa and Playa Panama, also called the Gold Coast. An hour drive will take you to the amazing white sand beaches of Flamingo, Tamarindo, Playa Negra and many others. Some of the best deep sea fishing in the world is found here and surfers think its paradise. Nosara Beach and Samara Beach are a little further out but well worth the effort.

Nicoya Peninsula :  Accessible from both International Airports, you have a choice of the Northern and wilder parts of the Peninsula, with beaches like Santa Teresa and Malpais, perfect for the surfers and beach lovers but you also have a choice of the south end of the Peninsula with hardly any waves at all where you can enjoy golf at Tambor and Tango mar or join the more artistic crowd in Montezuma Beach.
