Chuck Norris – Vote for Netanyahu to save US from evil forces

[ Editor’s Note:  You just can’t make this stuff up. Is this a sign that Bibi is scraping the bottom of the barrel…digging up Chuck for one last macho move on the voters?

I think it will boomerang as a symbol of “make believe” like this is not something I would have pitched.

Something with some credibility enhancement would seem the smart play now, but we see that Bibi and Likud, like our political crowd tamers here, they feel the measure of the vote who they think is the best entertainment…the best showman, like the head of state is a tv talent show.

But we are seeing a colorful election day so far. The extremist religiuos Shas party was slapped down by the election committee for handing out “keys to heaven” flyers to entice voters as their God given right that no one could deny them.

The ultra-racist Lieberman has acutally stated that if the opposition wins the 20% Arab population of Israel they will all join ISIL. I am not making this up. Check the election updates in the feature section.

And Bibi had a dinner time press conference canceled as an obvious attempt to influence the evening voters. I am impressed by their election commission, a job similar to trying to be a vet medic at a pit bull dog fight… Jim W. Dean ]

Everyone’s favorite martial artist-actor-cum-Republican activist Carlos “Chuck” Norris has swooped in on a last-ditch rescue mission for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in the hopes of ensuring Bibi’s re-election. Read more:

The 75-year-old actor declared his support with a video message for the incumbent Netanyahu, whose center-right Likud party is trailing in the polls against center-left Zionist Union, headed by former Minister of Justice Tzipi Livni and attorney and politician Isaac Herzog.

“I watched Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech before Congress, and I saw a man who loves his country with all his heart and soul. I also saw a strong leader that is absolutely crucial for the safety of the Israeli people,” Norris said in the video.

“I have done three movies in Israel — Delta Force being my favorite — and I formed many friendships while there. You have an incredible country, and we want to keep it that way.”

In addition to the video, Norris further praised the Prime Minister in a Facebook post.

“We the American people need Prime Minister Netanyahu as much as you do. Weak leadership can destroy your country and then the evil forces can concentrate on America, too,” he said.

So I ask you, please, for the sake of Israel and the whole Middle East, vote for Prime Minister Netanyahu on election day.”

Polls open Tuesday, though neither Likud nor Zionist Union are expected to earn more than a quarter of the votes, meaning the election will be followed by a lengthy negotiation process to form a coalition government, according to the Associated Press.
