Happy Memorial Day! Before you dig in to your cheeseburger, fresh off the grill at your Memorial Day picnic, take a moment to watch this video and give thanks to the generations of veterans who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom.

The Honor Flights Network, a non profit organization, makes it their year long mission to provide free transportation to American veterans to Washington DC so that they can have the opportunity to reflect on their service. From the Korean War to the Vietnam War and beyond, all Veterans are invited to participate, however special consideration is given to our American Veterans who fought during WWII. According to the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, 640 WWII Veterans pass away everyday. In honor of their sacrifice, the Honor Flights Network gives priority to those who served during the global crisis before time runs out.

If you would like to stay connected to The Honor Flights Network or make a donation to your veterans, please visit their website, or follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
