Jeb the Swiftie Toad

Yesterday, General Wesley Clark talked about rounding up troublemakers and putting them in camps, an obvious sign that Wes has blown his cool totally.  Not wanting to miss an opportunity, we have dug out the Jeb letter to “Bud” Day.  First let’s describe Day.

Day is a Medal of Honor Winner, the only unwitnessed Medal of Honor so far, awarded at the behest of John McCain’s admiral dad on the basis of one of the strangest tales ever told:

Citation: On 26 August 1967, Colonel Day was forced to eject from his aircraft over North Vietnam when it was hit by ground fire. His right arm was broken in 3 places, and his left knee was badly sprained. He was immediately captured by hostile forces and taken to a prison camp where he was interrogated and severely tortured. After causing the guards to relax their vigilance, Col. Day escaped into the jungle and began the trek toward South Vietnam. Despite injuries inflicted by fragments of a bomb or rocket, he continued southward surviving only on a few berries and uncooked frogs. He successfully evaded enemy patrols and reached the Bến Hải River, where he encountered U.S. artillery barrages. With the aid of a bamboo log float, Col. Day swam across the river and entered the demilitarized zone. Due to delirium, he lost his sense of direction and wandered aimlessly for several days. After several unsuccessful attempts to signal U.S. aircraft, he was ambushed and recaptured by the Viet Cong, sustaining gunshot wounds to his left hand and thigh. He was returned to the prison from which he had escaped and later was moved to Hanoi after giving his captors false information to questions put before him. Physically, Col. Day was totally debilitated and unable to perform even the simplest task for himself. Despite his many injuries, he continued to offer maximum resistance. His personal bravery in the face of deadly enemy pressure was significant in saving the lives of fellow aviators who were still flying against the enemy. Col. Day’s conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty are in keeping with the highest traditions of the U.S. Air Force and reflect great credit upon himself and the U.S. Armed Forces.[28]

Day, by the way, was John McCain’s divorce lawyer in his very nasty first divorce where he dumped his disabled wife who was maimed in an auto accident in order to marry the addict beer baroness, Cindy.

Day’s story above is not credible.  He died in 2013 after spending his declining years as a pro-torture toad and stooge for the rich, powerful and corrupt.

Day had always been a contender for the “worst person that ever lived award” along with McCain and the Bush family.

The Swifties, a collection of phony vets, paid political stooges and Israel lobby hangers on were paid by “Mo” Pickens, better known as T. Boone Pickens.  Pickens had agreed to pay a veterans charity of choice $1 million if the Swifties were outed as liars, which of course they were.  Pickens never paid up though he and I exchanged unpleasant emails on this for some time.  I suggested he do it privately if he wasn’t man enough to admit a mistake.  He refused that also.

He will read this, it will make him unhappy.

As for Jeb and other GOPers who are defending McCain and Bud Day as well and the others who were accused before the blanket coverup and pardon, it’s time we aired the dirty laundry and declassified the POW files from Vietnam.

Then again, we might just as well declassify the CIA files on Jeb and his move to Venezuela, where before marrying the daughter of a drug cartel financier, our boy Jeb representing one of the Bush family banks, set up money laundering facilities that have handled hundreds of billions of dollars.  Want to start a trail on Bush?

Fugitive Accuses Bush

April 21, 1995 |Staff Report

MIAMI – — A fugitive accused of swindling millions from Medicare said he paid Jeb Bush $75,000 to buy influence in Washington while he tried to save his Florida health care company.

Miguel Recarey told ABC’s 20-20 that Bush’s father was vice president when the younger Bush called then-Health and Human Services Secretary Margaret Heckler on Recarey’s behalf.

Asked whether he was paying for Bush’s influence, Recarey responded, “Sure. Obviously not enough.”

Recarey was head of International Medical Centers, a Medicare-certified health maintenance organization. He is accused of diverting about $200 million in Medicare claims.

Recarey fled to avoid prosecution, and now lives in Spain, which has refused to extradite him.

Bush, who was the Republican nominee for governor last year, worked with Recarey on a real estate deal, but has denied using any influence to help Recarey’s medical firm. He said he did not recall speaking to Heckler about the case, but did call a lower HHS official “requesting that IMC be given a fair hearing.”

The 20-20 segment was scheduled for broadcast tonight.

But you see there was no 20-20 segment, it was pulled. Recary ties Bush to Iran Contra, to massive drug running with Oliver North and to hundreds of millions in missing Medicare cash.

Then again, Senator Menendez can do the same, this is why he was “golden parachuted” out of Washington.

And so it goes…
