Syrian Army, Hezbollah Win Back Jisr Al-Shughour in Idlib

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army and the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance forces seized back the city of Jisr al-Shughour and its surrounding mountainous areas in the province of Idlib on Tuesday.

Field sources reiterated that the army and the resistance forces are now advancing towards new areas in Idlib province that are under the control of Ahrar al-Sham and Jeish al-Fath militants.

The Syrian army and the resistance forces also took control of strategic hilltops in the Mountainous area of Jisr al-Shughour.

At least 300 Takfiri terrorists were killed in Jisr al-Shughour area.

The Jisr al-Shuguour operations is another phase of the massive military operations that started in Aleppo, Northern Lattakia, and Idlib about 10 days ago.

Jisr al-Shughour is located in the Western parts of Idlib province and it is of highly strategic importance. The city links Syria’s coastal towns as well as the Idlib and Aleppo provinces. It has a population of over 150,000 people.

An informed source within the Syrian military ranks announced on Sunday that a long convoy of Jeish al-Fath militant group was targeted and destroyed by the country’s troops in the Northwestern province of Idlib.

The source said that most of the militants’ vehicles, carrying weapons and ammunition, were exploded in the army attack near Slayyia village in Khan Sheikhoun.

ISIL Strategic Base Destroyed in Nineveh
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iraqi forces, backed by the country’s warplanes, destroyed an ISIL strategic base in Nineveh province, reports said Tuesday.

Iraqi forces, backed by airstrikes, destroyed the ISIL strategic base in Tal Afar area in Nineveh.

On Monday, Iraq’s army and al-Hashid al-Shaabi popular forces regained full control over several strategic bases of ISIL terrorists in Anbar province.

The Iraqi forces retook the ISIL bases in the areas of East Haseebah, al-Sajariyyah, Theela and Al Sufiyyah, East of the city of Ramadi, and killed dozens of the militants and destroyed scores of their armed vehicles, informed sources said.

Earlier reports said Iraqi volunteer forces, al-Hashid al-Shaabi, discovered and seized US-made military hardware and ammunition in captured terrorists’ positions.

The Iraqi forces discovered US-made military hardware and ammunition, including missiles, in terrorists’ command center in Salahuddin province, informed sources said Monday.

Air Raids Hit ISIL Positions in Aleppo, Hama
TEHRAN (FNA)- Syrian airstrikes destroyed more ISIL positions and vehicles in the provinces of Aleppo and Hama on Tuesday as the terrorists continue to flee the strikes.

The Syrian warplanes bombed ISIL vehicles in al-Sheikh Ahmad village to the South of the Air Force Academy in the Eastern countryside of Aleppo.

The air raids also hit other ISIL positions in Tabaret al-Sakhaneh village along Khanaser-Itheria axis in Hama.

Earlier reports said hundreds of terrorists fled their positions in Aleppo province as the Syrian army, backed by the country’s warplanes and Russian fighter jets, staged a large-scale offensive on the positions of the Takfiri militants.

Informed sources said Tuesday that the terrorists fled as the Syrian forces continue to advance against the militants.

On Tuesday, the Syrian and Russian air raids hit several concentration centers of the Takfiri militant groups in Aleppo, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists.

The Syrian army and the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance forces, backed by Russian warplanes, continued to advance against the Takfiri militants in Aleppo province, informed sources said Tuesday.

The Syrian army, the National Defense Forces and Hezbollah forces advanced against the militant groups in Aleppo to lift the two-year-long siege imposed by the ISIL terrorists on the Kuweires Airbase.

The Syrian forces also attacked militants’ positions in the town of Sheikh Ahmad, killing tens of terrorists.

The Syrian forces also repelled large-scale ISIL attacks on army checkpoints on the road to Sheikh Hilal village.

Russian Airstrikes Hit Terrorists’ Training Camp
TEHRAN (FNA)- Russian warplanes launched airstrikes on a terrorists’ training camp on the outskirts of the Syrian capital, inflicting heavy losses on the Takfiri militants, reports said Tuesday.

Russian fighter jets bombed a terrorist training camp at the outskirts of Damascus, and killed dozens of Takfiri militants.

On Monday, the Syrian army seized a tunnel used by the terrorist groups in Damascus province.

The Syrian troops seized the tunnel in Jobar in Damascus province, informed sources said.

On Oct 11, Syrian army troops also seized and destroyed a tunnel used by the foreign-backed militants in Damascus countryside.

The Syrian government forces destroyed a tunnel dug by the ISIL in Jobar neighborhood in Damascus province.

Hundreds of militias are said to have used the tunnel to cross into the city and wreak havoc on the Arab country.

Syrian Jets Bomb Takfiris’ Positions in Homs
TEHRAN (FNA)- Syrian air force fighter bombers staged massive air raids on Takfiri positions in Homs province.

The Syrian airstrikes hit the terrorists’ positions in Al-Ghantu, Teblisa and Teir Ma’ala in Homs, informed sources said.

Earlier reports said on Tuesday that the Syrian fighter jets destroyed terrorists’ positions in al-Bayarat area and the vicinity of Jazal in Homs countryside.

North of the Homs city was the scene of fierce clashes between the Syrian Army troops and the militants, local sources said on Monday, and reported a heavy death toll among the militants.

Teir Ma’ala town and its countryside witnessed heavy fighting between the terrorists and the Syrian soldiers, who stormed the militants’ defense lines in early hours of this morning, the sources said Monday.

The sources further added that the militant groups left behind scores of the killed members and retreated from the battlefront.
