Skeet and trap shoot raises money to help veterans

An East Tennessee organization dedicated to help veterans held its 5th Annual Skeet and Trap Shoot competition in Oak Ridge.
Pull For Our Veterans held the competition to raise money for The Fisher House Foundation and Honor Air Knoxville. Some 120 shooters showed up at the Oak Ridge Sportsmen’s Association over the weekend to shoot, as well as donate and bid on a silent auction.
The competition took place from Friday to Sunday, with specialized flights of local law enforcement and active duty service members getting fired up to spend the afternoon shooting.
