Group working to bring Veterans Memorial Wall to Swoyersville this summer

A group is working to bring a 250-foot replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial along with a mobile Education Center to Swoyersville this summer, providing a look back in history and a chance to honor area veterans.
The effort all started when the Swoyersville American Legion Riders visited the traveling display in the Uniontown section of Coal Township, Northumberland County, in June 2014.
“With many of our members being veterans,” said Cathie Fetterman, “we were touched by it and we wanted to bring it to our town.”
