Amazon adding 'hundreds' of new jobs in Delaware

Amazon plans to add “hundreds” of new full-time workers at its two distribution centers in Delaware in the coming weeks.

The bulk of the jobs are being added at the e-commerce giant’s 1.2-million-square-foot fulfillment center in Middletown.

“We are working around the clock in the county to create quality job opportunities for all our communities,” said New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer. “This decision by Amazon confirms that New Castle County is the premier location globally to grow an e-commerce company.”
