ATTENTION VETERANS — Do you know of a deserving veteran who has made a significant impact on yourself, or his/her peers? Or, do you want to share your experiences and impacts as a war hero for our country?
The third-annual David Resnick Veteran grant contest is now open!
From now, until July 1, 2019, applications can be submitted to be considered for the cash grant. A total of $4,000 in grants will be provided to the top applicants. Three prizes will be issued, with awards ranging from $2500, $1000, or $500, respectively.
To enter, a 600-word or more essay must be submitted. It must provide details about the veteran’s service (dates of service, branch of the military, highlights of the veteran’s service, etc.). The essay must also provide details about how the writer knows the veteran.
