What is a U.S. Military Veteran?

by Peter Macdonald

This is a person that served in the military service (esp. in a war). A U.S. military Veteran is someone that loves the U.S. so much they are willing to give their lives for her. The treatment of Veterans by people that never served is degrading. They claim that to many injured Veterans return from a war or conflict at one time. They claim that injured or disabled Veterans are a burden on the U.S. budget. A child leaves the safe home that Veteran’s before sacrificed to protect. This child learns by enduring the cruel and unsightly experiences day after day until they become complacent with life. This is the creation of a Veteran. This person (Veteran) now has drilled into their subconscious a world that can not be conceived by people that have never been there.

We have elected public officials that believe their pet projects are more important than Veterans. These are the public officials that send these kids off to create these Veterans. These are the public officials that believe warehousing injured Veterans in make shift hospitals will save money for them to spend else were. We have elected public officials in New Hampshire that believe a Veteran’s medical care should be use as a weapon to control Veteran’s Free Speech…

We in NH have a Veterans Task Force (VTF) that believes just because you get a disabled Veteran’s medical care restored that is enough. The contemptible act of using medical care (especially) for combat related injuries as a weapon is unbelievable. This is an illegal act. The newspapers did not even print the facts because, (I believe they are biased) it seems unbelievable. I am still “Red Flagged” which means if I get treatment the staff are reluctant to assist me. The Veterans Task Force is a smoke screen to make voters believe NH cares about Veterans. A VTF should expose this contemptible illegal act so that No where in the U.S. does another disabled Veteran have is health use as a bribe to make the veteran act in the manner the public officials tell the Veteran.

We as Veterans served our country. We as Veterans ask for and do not believe we deserve any special treatment. We as Veterans wish that the Constitution protected us as we gave our childhood and life so that it may protect these public officials that just do not care.

New Hampshire Governor Lynch thinks so little of Veterans that he charged me $200.00 dollars for thirty minutes for me speak with him. He took my money and refused to speak. I guess Veterans are not worth the NH Governors time.
