1. Can a VA Home Loan be used for investment property such as rental homes? 

NO, to secure the VA Loan, it must be your primary residence……after you secure the home, then you can rent it out later…..and move elsewhere.

 

2. If I were to buy a multifamily home with the loan could I use what would be the expected rent from the other apartments for the purposes of showing income?

NO, investment property is not allowed
