Scheduling Guest for the 2009 Route 9 Veterans Forum Cable Access Show

by William H. Moore

My name is Bill Moore and I am the Producer of the monthly “Route 9 Veterans Forum Cable Access Show” I began to produce this 1 hour cable access show in June 2007 after retiring from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Disabled Veterans Employment Representative due to my service connected disabilities.  I am associated with and a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Joel H. Prouty Lodge, Masonic Military Support Fund, Melha Shriners, Leicester Lions Club, Armed Forces Committee of Worcester County and Operation Home front and alumni of Assumption College and Quinsigamond Community College.

While working in my veteran position I was amazed at how many of my fellow veterans where not aware of the many benefits and programs available to them and there widows so I decided to volunteer and produce a 1 hour monthly cable access show titled the Route 9 Veterans Forum to talk about veteran issues and invite military and veteran organizations on to discuss there programs. We feel this innovative and informative program of 1 hour is not only needed by the veterans but also by their families. Our reception by over 68 towns and cities and the many military installations who receives this show in theatres of operations speaks to that.

Today’s veterans face unique and overwhelming challenges. Larry and I provide complete service to all veterans of all eras. We concentrate strictly on veteran’s needs, issues and desires. As a Disabled Air Force veteran, I feel that the more information a vet has on benefits, medical, burial rights, employment, returning to work issues and the other hundreds of problems, the better off they are. RT 9 VETERANS FORUM PROVIDES ALL THAT AND MORE.

I started off in Leicester, MA then Auburn, MA where my fellow colleague and current Auburn Town VSO Larry Corbin became my co-producer and this program took off with over 67 towns and cities requesting and receiving this program each month for there local cable access channel (free of charge) and mailed to a variety of military contacts in theatre of operations around the world.

We have the following Day’s and Times available for 2009.  If you would like to appear and talk about your veteran organization and services you provide I would love to hear from you.  Please review Month, Day & Time Slots and respond back to me at your earliest, first come, first scheduled!
