Gulf War Veterans Dying at an Earlier Age?

I have more to send out but these made my Nurse’s heart cry out! Enough! These were the youngest 39yrs old-18yrs= 21 when they were over there in Desert Storm. I pray that they had full lives over the past 18 yrs! This is when I get upset. Cancer and cardiac at an early age! I will be providing a 6 month review very shortly that will give data on obituaries we have collected, my hypothesis is that gulf war veterans are dying in young age groups since the Gulf War 1990-91 at a higher rate than most are realizing.  Cardiac ICU Clinical Specialist that was my background prior to going into teach nursing students at the university level. This is why I am pushing on the hypercoagulation studies, there is more for us to find! More to diagnosis, test and find treatment that works!  This is why VA should establish a Desert Storm Veteran Death Registry with all possible data and unit served by honoring the dead we serve the living better.

It is one thing to die in theater doing your service yet a far greater to die after coming home and not have as many honors and support given! Without anymore said. May we say a quiet prayer for them even though we may not have personally known them. Salute-Full Honors-Taps..
