The New York Times reports today that very soon the "coalition of the willing" in Iraq will number only Americans.  It also reports that Iraqi’s will not be able to defend their own airspace by the pullout date of American forces. It also reports that the arrest of the North Carolina jihadists completely bewilders anyone who knows any of these guys. Then it is running a story about alleged torture by the Iranian government of the protestors who have refused to accept the recent alleged election results in Iran.

The Washington Post is reporting today that Iran has closed one prison and released 140 prisoners as a result of high level protest over abuse of protestors in that prison.
