And here is why we will lose. "Afghanistan" is more of a ghost than a country.

A Taliban fighter inIn today’s Washington Post we have a story entitled Afghan promises to insurgents often empty that sums up why we will ultimately lose any war in Afghanistan.  Our primary partner, the Afghan government, is not capable of acting like a government in any real way. They place their own people in harm’s way for reasons still unclear to a Western mind. We are sending our young people over there to defend this?

It is now apparent from the lack of in-depth mainstream media coverage that deals have been made, probably in order for these outlets to keep their White House access alive.  This is a Bush Administration trick that is probably now being used by the Obamites.  It is wrong and it is unAmerican. Freedom of the Press? Hardly.

We have had several anti-war demonstrations in the last two weeks in cities throughout the country.  The mainstream media has not covered them.  That leaves this coverage up to the blogs.  Standby.
