Time Magazine online has a short but important article entitled Obama’s Afghan Surge: A Long War With an Uncertain Outcome that basically lays out for the reader what we here at VT have been saying for months.
This is going to be a long, brutal and ultimately unwinnable war that Obama has launched us toward.
But so far, the real reasons that we are doing this desert death dance remain covered. No one in the mainstream media believes what our government is telling us relative to the real reasons we are launching a sort of Afghani-Nam War. Yet the media does not delve into the necessary research needed to get to the bottom of this.
We still do not know the real reasons American kids are going to kill and be killed in Afghani-Nam, do we? Obama has proved to be just as much a jingoist as Bush was. Why are we escalating this war?
