Alleged Russian armsTime Magazine online has an interesting article posted entitled New Job for Ex-Soviet Pilots: Arms Trafficking .  It is worth a read and a few minutes thought.  Apparently, ex-Soviet and Russian pilots are using old planes to smuggle weapons and munitions all over the world.  This cannot be good!

The Thai government has just arrested a flock of these old crows and is putting them on trial for international arms trafficking but apparently this is only the tip of the iceberg.  The situation apparently causes problems for the U.S. in many parts of the world.  If it ain’t one thing, it is another…!

This story has legs.  It should be interesting to see where the story goes.

For years around Washington there has been rumors that many of our retired special ops people have been deeply involved in the international arms trade (illegally that is) along with the international drug trade.  It is a rumor that never dies here.  I wonder…..
