When Wisconsin does something honoring veterans, it does it right. Presenting LZ Lambeau: Welcome Home, Vietnam Veterans, May 2010.

LZ Lambeau

On the behalf of the Green Bay Packers, I would like to welcome Vietnam Veterans to Lambeau Field for their “Welcome Home” weekend, LZ Lambeau. We’re proud to be a part of the gathering that will welcome Wisconsin’s Vietnam Veterans, Vietnam Era Veterans and their families and friends to an important celebration at Lambeau Field.

LZ Lambeau will be comprised of three days of events, with the main event taking place Saturday, May 22, 2010, in Lambeau Field, featuring special speakers, recognition, music and premiere segments from the Wisconsin Vietnam War Stories documentary.

Other events during the weekend include The Moving Wall, exhibits and opportunities for veterans to reunite with their fellow service men and women. And, since we’ll be at Lambeau Field, tailgating will be part of the action as well.

While you’re here at Lambeau Field, we invite you to take in all that our special home offers, including the Packers Hall of Fame and Lambeau Field Stadium Tours.

We’re excited to work with partners at the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, the Wisconsin Historical Society, Wisconsin Public Television and Veterans organizations statewide. More information about the weekend is available here and at www.LZLambeau.org.

We look forward to seeing you at Lambeau Field in May 2010!
