Gilad Atzmon is a jazz musician, author, and anti-Zionist activist. He was born in Israel, served in the IDF, but now lives in exile as a Hebrew-speaking Palestinian.
Gilad grew up a secular Israeli Jew in Tel Aviv. He trained at the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem, where he learned to play soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones. He studied philosophy in Great Britain and moved to London at age 32.
