Today, as the USA plays Ghana in the knockout round at the World Cup where the whole world is watching as the USA gains internationl prestige as a member of the world sport community, it strikes me extremely hard and reminds me how poorly we can act against our neighbors when we unleash dangerous lunatics like Gov. Jan Brewer who said yesterday that that most illegal immigrants entering Arizona are being used to transport drugs across the border, an assertion that critics slammed as exaggerated and racist.

For three rugged days beginning Friday, June 25, nine teams of five athletes—three able-bodied and two disabled athletes, many of whom are wounded veterans—will compete in the fourth annual “Adventure TEAM Challenge,” hosted by World T.E.A.M. Sports in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The Adventure TEAM Challenge incorporates rafting, hiking, climbing and biking under adverse conditions.

The average rate for 30-year fixed VA loans sank to 4.69 percent, from 4.75 percent last week, mortgage firm Equity VA Loans said Thursday.
