This fall, just in time for Veterans Day, the Veterans History Project urges you to pledge to record the story of at least one veteran in your life or community for the Library of Congress

By Kevin Secor at the VA:

More than 1,000 veterans die every day in the United States; pledge to preserve important elements of history before they disappear forever. Take the pledge and learn more at www.loc.gov/vets.

The Library of Congress asks that you also encourage others to do the same by checking out the Library’s new public service announcement and posting it on your Web site, blog, or social media page. Visit, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzqhQNYoXhI to “like” and share through Facebook and other social media tools. Contact the Veterans History Project at [email protected] or call toll free 888-371-5848 for more information.
