Veterans Village of San Diego is very pleased to announce that best-selling author Patricia Cornwell has donated her 2005 Limited Edition Ferrari Superamerica, appraised at $250,000, to VVSD. She made the announcement this morning on Good Morning America.

The news release distributed today by her publisher, video of her Ferrari, and her appearance on GMA are at http://vvsd.net/cornwell.htm

VVSD has commissioned Menish Auctions to hold the fundraising auction on December 9, in Boston. The auction will be broadcast live on the Internet. Details at https://www.proxibid.com/asp/Catalog.asp?aid=34289

Last week Ms. Cornwell also launched “America For Vets” to support VVSD with in-kind toiletries donations for our programs, especially the Veterans Winter Shelter.

We are overwhelmed by Patricia’s compassion, understanding and support. We are proud to be her partner and friend. Her website is: http://patriciacornwell.com
