DEFENSE THREAT REDUCATION AGENCY

MediVector, Inc., Boston, Mass., is being awarded a $138,500,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for advance development of emerging infectious diseases medical countermeasure drug for the Federal Drug Administration licensure.  Work will be performed in Boston, Mass., and is expected to be completed April 2016.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Solicitation was issued for full and open competition and four proposals were received.  The Defense Threat Reducation Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (HDTRA1-12-C-0031).

NAVY

Timken Gears & Services, Inc., King of Prussia, Pa., is being awarded a $74,451,888 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-10-C-2310) to exercise an option to procure three DDG 51 class main reduction gear (MRG) shipsets.  MRGs will be used for Arleigh Burke (DDG 51) class guided-missile destroyers procured in fiscal 2012 and 2013.  The equipment procured via this acquisition effort will be provided as government-furnished equipment to the DDG 51 class shipbuilders.  Work will be performed in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. (68 percent); Riverside, Mo. (10 percent); New Castle, Del. (7 percent); Latrobe, Pa. (2 percent); St. Augustine, Fla. (1 percent); Spring Grove, Ill. (1 percent); Fitchburg, Mass. (1 percent); Corry, Pa. (1 percent); Erie, Pa. (1 percent); King of Prussia, Pa. (1 percent); Antigo, Wis. (1 percent); and other various locations with less than one percent (6 percent).  Work is expected to be completed by March 2015.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $56,329,396 cost reimbursement modification to previously awarded contract (N00019-10-C-0002) to provide additional funding for the sustainment effort necessary to meet the requirements and delivery schedule for the F-35 Low Rate Initial Production V.  Work will be performed in Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. (60 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (15 percent); El Segundo, Calif. (5 percent); Warton, United Kingdom (5 percent); Orlando, Fla. (5 percent); Nashua, N.H. (5 percent); and Baltimore, Md. (5 percent).  Work is expected to be completed in May 2012.  Contract funds in the amount of $18,707,400 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $38,599,999 modification to the previously awarded low rate initial production Lot 6 advance acquisition contract (N00019-11-C-0083) to provide additional funding for the procurement of long lead items for F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter low rate initial production conventional take-off and landing (CTOL) aircraft for the Air Force, and the governments of Italy and Australia.  Work, which will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, is necessary to protect the delivery schedules of CTOL aircraft planned for delivery through January 2015.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $12,588,056 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-10-C-0030) to exercise an option for 1,116 direct attack moving target weapons and appropriate shipping containers and 640 hours of production engineering and logistics support services.  Work will be performed in St. Charles, Mo., and is expected to be completed in February 2013.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Engineering/Remediation Resources Group, Inc., Martinez, Calif., is being awarded $8,083,833 for firm-fixed-price task order 0010 under a previously awarded environmental multiple award contract (N62473-09-D-2608) for remedial action Parcel B (excluding installation restoration sites 7 and 18) at Hunters Point Shipyard.  The work to be performed provides for implementation of the remedy detailed in the remedial design package for Parcel B.  Work will be performed in San Francisco, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 2014.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Three proposals were received for this task order.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Space & Mission Systems Corp, Herndon, Va., is being awarded a $10,999,921, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for providing technical and engineering support to operate and maintain National Air and Space Intelligence Center databases, tools, dynamic web-based products, and related systems and capabilities.  The location of the performance is Fairborn, Ohio.  Work is expected to be completed March 11, 2013.  Air Force Research Laboratory/RIKE, Rome, N.Y., is the contracting activity (FA8750-09-C-0182-0022).

Parker-Hannifin Corp., Irvine Calif., is being awarded a $7,498,669 firm-fixed-price contract for indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity for upgrade, remanufacture, and overhaul services of the C-5 hydraulic kneeling motor at Hill Air Force Base.  The location of the performance is Kalamazoo, Mich.  Work is expected to be completed June 2017.  748 SCMG/PK, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8252-12-D-0003). 

TAC Industries, Inc., Springfield, Ohio, is being awarded a $6,511,278 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for a best estimated quantity of 13,084 each year for net cargo tiedown-top nets, and a best estimated quantity of 23,903 each year for net cargo tiedown-side nets acquired by the WR-ALC/GRVK Support Equipment and Vehicle Division at Robins Air Force Base, Ga.  The location of the performance is TAC Industries, Inc., Springfield, Ohio.  Work is expected to be completed March 11, 2013.  WR-ALC/GRVK, Robbins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (FA8532-12-D-0002).
