Here’s Today’s Department of Defense Contract Awards

 

AIR FORCE

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $98,800,000 not-to-exceed cost-plus-incentive-fee and firm-fixed-priced contract to procure enhanced threat response redesign for the Massive Ordnance Penetrator, a quick reaction capability program.  The location of the performance is St. Louis, Mo.  Work is to be completed by March 30, 2014.  AAC/EBDK/EDBJ, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (FA868109-C-0280, P00034).

Scientific Research Corp., Atlanta, Ga., is being awarded a $74,734,005 cost-plus, incentive-fee, fixed-price cost contract to procure the MC-130J Terrain Following/Terrain Avoidance Radar System.  The locations of the performance are Scientific Research Corp., Atlanta, Ga., and iAccess Technologies, Inc., Long Beach, Calif.  Work is to be completed by April 2017.  ASC/WISK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8530-08-0014-SC01).

Booz Allen Hamilton, McLean, Va., is being awarded a $6,979,123 cost-plus, fixed-fee contract for additional work effort and integration support of the Launch and Test Range System.  The location of the performance is Booz Allen Hamilton, Los Angeles, Calif.; Space and Missiles Systems Center, El Segundo, Calif.; and Space and Missile Systems Center, Patrick Air Force Base, Fla.  Work is to be completed by March 20, 2012.  SMC/RN, El Segundo, Calif., is the contracting activity (FA8811-10-C-0006, P00030).

NAVY

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $25,674,383 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00019-06-C-0081) to provide detailed maintenance plans in support of the CH-53K helicopter program.  Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed in December 2015.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Neany, Inc.*, Hollywood, Md., is being awarded an $11,334,852 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide logistics and pre-deployment services in support of Persistent Ground Surveillance System operators, including procurement of materials.  Work will be performed in various forward deployed operating bases located in Afghanistan (75 percent); Hollywood, Md. (20 percent); and Yuma, Ariz. (5 percent).  Work is expected to be completed in June 2012.  Contract funds in the amount of $703,333 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2), Unusual and Compelling Urgency.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-12-C-0225).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Outdoor Venture Corp.*, Stearns, Ky., was issued a firm-fixe- price, fixed quantity contract with a maximum $6,721,056 for lightweight maintenance enclosure green.  Other location of performance is in Pine Knot, Ky.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.  There were three responses to the Web proposal.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 Defense Working Capital Funds.  The date of performance completion is Nov. 30, 2013.  The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM1C1-12-C-0013).
