Hate the Dems?  The GOP is Trying to Murder You!

By Gordon Duff, Senior Editor

We are going to start with one GOP fairytale, health care.  Their position is the 1986 law, called EMPALA (Emergency Medial Treatment and Active Labor Act) guarantees uninsured Americans quality medical care.  This is a total lie.

Who doesn’t have insurance?  This is the typical uninsured patient that comes to a hospital:

  1. 85% are white
  2. 75% are self-employed, small business owners or recently unemployed
  3. Most own homes
  4. Few have ever taken any welfare payments or public assistance
  5. 30% are families of veterans

What is the result of their hospital visit?

  1. 40% file bankruptcy
  2. 20% lose their homes soon after more within one year
  3. They are 49 to 52% more likely to die of serious treatable diseases, heart attacks, strokes, than the assured (Harvard/Brigham Young Study)
  4. Only “wounds” are thoroughly cared for, chronic diseases are “stabilized” and patients are released or transferred and released from another hospital, called “turfing”

Backing up that study is this quote.  We found it on CNN, meaning “everyone” knew it.  This is part of why lying is so insane as the proof of the lies comes from both the most reputable sources and the most public. We suggest you read the whole thing:

When uninsured patients are treated in the hospital for heart attack, stroke and pneumonia, they are more likely to die from the conditions during their hospital stay, a new study finds.

Researchers from Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Massachusetts investigated the impact of insurance coverage on hospital care, by analyzing the discharge data of more than 150 thousand adults between ages 18 and 64. The study, published today in the Journal of Hospital Medicine, found that compared with hospitalized patients who have insurance, uninsured patients were 52 percent more likely to die in the hospital after a heart attack and 49 percent more likely to die in the hospital after a stroke. Patients on Medicaid were 21 percent more likely to die in the hospital while receiving treatment for pneumonia.

We are clearly talking about the well documented killing of a class of Americans based specifically on them being “useless eaters,” not a class less educated, certainly not less hard working, the uninsured are, in fact, specifically victimized targets of a government war on the middle class.  Medicaid, with much lower mortality figures represents America’s poor, the mass of deaths depicted in this study are, as cited at the beginning of the article, those temporarily unemployed, be they corporate management, engineers, machinists or general management, most obvious of all, they are not individuals who, by nature, turn to government for help.

We are, in actuality, killing off American conservatives for their unwillingness to run down to Social Services when things get tough, as with the Bush collapse.  We are killing the hard working, the hopeful, the job seekers, those trying hardest to rebuild America are being systematically slaughtered by the political part the majority of them voted with.

Is it just the uninsured who have this happen?  The answer is no.

We still haven’t begun to discuss “pre-existing conditions” which preclude sick people from insurance, the heart of Obamacare and the key to right or wrong, either we respect the rights of Americans or we trample on them.  Denying insurance and medical care, we have proven this conclusively, to people who will die without proper care is murder and in my world we execute murderers.

I have already had enough from Dems, I am sure not going to be dictated to or have my loved ones murdered by a pack of greedy and thieving gangster, the good old GOP.

This is a list of “health care providers” whose recipients have much higher mortality rates than others and who fail to received new medications, needed tests and “cutting edge” treatments:

  1. Medicare (All Americans over 66 years old have Medicare)
  2. Medicaid, a government program targeted specifically for those that have a long history of public assistance
  3. Tricare:  Military families, full retirees and their dependents, dependents of active duty soldiers in combat overseas
  4. ChampVA:  Family members of fully combat disabled veterans, those killed in combat, or former prisoners of war
  5. Veterans, treated at VA facilities

Under current laws, members of these groups receive a lower standard of care, are denied key treatments and have a much higher degree of mortality from common treatable diseases.  They seldom receive follow up care, often have “records lost” or appointments cancelled as they are considered “unprofitable” or as with Veterans, are subject to general abuse and neglect.

We have covered the percentage of Americans denied proper health care, we then need to look at those who have available, if they can get through the system, health care that may be costing as much as $1500 per month per person through private insurers.  This amount, $1500 per month, is above the average “take home” wage of a family of 4 where I live.

It usually takes two full time members of a family to make enough to buy a conventional insurance policy if they live homeless, eat out of garbage cans and walk to work.  The number of employers who supply insurance goes down each year with, as you will read over and over, the largest employers in the US, such as Amway Corporation who uses Manpower and considers the majority of employees “temps” pays nothing.

The billionaires who own Amway, former neighbors, own Blackwater, are among the richest people in the world and the biggest donors to the GOP.  Their own employees are neither covered by insurance nor paid a decent salary.

We could talk about how much they pollute the air and water, how they spy on employees or real dirt, murders of those who “got in the way” of family issues, but that would be gossiping and I don’t do that.  After all, the police records are shredded, an Amway Security helicopter with armed patrol held off local law enforcement and I would know nothing of it were I not to have been the father of the child who found the murder weapon behind a D & W Supermarket in Gaslight Village in “exclusive” East Grand Rapids, Michigan.  (Rossi Stagecoach, 12 ga. 2bbl)

Currently about 51% of Americans have some form of employer related health insurance.  Almost all of these systems include either extensive employee contributions, co-pays and limits on treatment, “withheld care.”

The standard of quality health care is that used by members of Congress.  Only 8% of Americans have insurance at that level of treatment and co-pays.

About half, 24% of Americans who have employer insurance programs actually have extreme limitations, have programs that are only “treatment discount cards” or are actually using Medicaid as with America’s largest employer, Walmart and considering it, according to records, “health care insurance.”

In truth, do we know how many Americans have health insurance that guarantees them unlimited quality care?  Without the purchase of a quality supplemental private insurance policy in addition to those supplied by employers, only 8%.

Such policies average between $5000 and $8000 per year and are usually paid out of Social Security benefits by people with chronic health problems living well under the poverty limit.

We are currently not addressing the 40 million homeless Americans.  One of our correspondents, Mike Harris, watched St. Louis dedicate a one acre “tent city” for their homeless that have overflowed, not just shelters, but areas under bridges, abandoned homes, warehouses and factories.

In Michigan, the massive state and national forests, a networks of logging roads through thousands of miles of America’s harshest climate regions has seen “homesteads” staked out, using old tents, abandoned and defective travel trailers or “holiday caravans” or makeshift dugouts where young families cut firewood, try to maintain some fresh food in coolers with ice from fast food restaurants and send children to school intermittently or not at all.

The big GOP lies has been that all uninsured receive the same treatment as guaranteed by law.

One big issue is that the uninsured pay between 45 and 80% more for the same care as insured patients, though they receive less care.  A typical emergency room visit for an uninsured patient according to studies by the AHA are $5000.  For insured patients they are $3000.

The problem is, uninsured patents seldom receive clot busting drugs, heart catheterizations, by pass surgery, programs of treatment for cancers, in fact, for anything other than a simple fractured tibia or broken toe, there is no commonality for treatment at all.

That, and the insured who are “collectable,” who own homes, are bilked of the entirety of their belongings and forced into bankruptcy, no longer a protection as it was due to GOP lobbying in conjunction with the health care industry.

One of the favorite tricks hospitals engage in is “turfing.”  In uninsured patient shows up at an emergency room.  They wait 6 hours to see a doctor.  They are never diagnosed as expensive diagnostic procedures are not available to them.  They are then loaded onto an ambulance and taken to a “lesser” hospital where the waiting begins again, only to end as before, without diagnosis.  The problem could be a heart attack, cancer, a stroke, pneumonia, AIDS, flesh eating infections or one of hundreds of maladies hospitals can easily diagnosis.

Instead, they “turf.”

The goal, the goal of the GOP and medical gangsterism partnership?  An insured patent will leave the final place they are dropped off, either physically exhausted or dying, walk down the sidewalk and get as far away as possible before expiring.  If the family hires a lawyer, records disappear, charts are altered, it is called a “misunderstanding” and the hospitals always win, at least the “numbers game.

This is actually how the VA works. Here in Ohio, you are sent to the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor where you can die of old age in a waiting room.  If you have a scheduled appointment, it can take a year or more and even those can be cancelled.  I am a 100% combat disabled vet and one of my appointments is now 28 months behind, with prescriptions for needed daily medications now over 2 years behind.

One required tooth implant has been waiting for 8 years, two joint replacements for 12 years and I have spent $12,000 on private dental work covered by the VA but they had no one they considered “qualified” to provide such services and do not reimburse veterans.  By law I have fully paid medical, dental and optical for life.  12 years ago, I received my only pair of glasses from the VA.  They were in a children’s size and one arm was broken off.

I got the message.  They are available for inspection if the VA is curious.  The worst part was that the prescription was wrong and, of course, it took many months for them to arrive.

One of my daughters was married to a United States Marine serving in Iraq during the 2003 invasion.  She was expecting a child but had a miscarriage.  As the wife of an American soldier serving in combat, she was left with several thousand dollars in health care bills that she paid for working as a substitute teacher while living at home with us.

Her husband’s Marine unit had a “help line” for dependents.  They admitted that no provision had been made to insure families of units “called up” for the war.

As with any rule, there are exceptions.  Individual doctors see to it that uninsured patients receive top quality treatment.  Often they are fired for doing this.  Some facilities have fair and reasonable policies but the majority do not.  It is the lucky American who is “turfed” to a decent hospital and arrives before it is too late to be properly diagnosed and treated prior to death.

We call this “Romneycare,” it is like gambling, like walking blindfolded through heavy traffic at night wearing an all black outfit.

I am going to end this short piece with a talk about nursing homes.  My mother was in a hospital in Southeastern Kentucky with pneumonia.  She seemed incoherent.  I took her chart, I have little trouble doing so and most people find it best to cooperate at such times, and found she had been given high doses of a drug called “Haldol” or haloperidol.  This is an anti-psychotic whose side effects mimic dementia.

A note on the chart ordered her to be “turfed” to a local nursing home, owned by the doctor who made the note, the same doctor who “dosed” my mother with Haldol.

My mother was heavily insured.

I ended the “Haldol” and a day later my mother returned to her home, for the next 10 years with no more symptoms of the misdiagnosed dementia.

My  wife’s step-father, a World War II veteran with extensive insurance was in a hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  He was there for a back injury, a former Navy Corpsman.  However, he was showing signs of dementia but his chart showed no “Haldol” being administered.  However, his IV bag had a tag showing that he had been “dosed” with halperidol and the hospital was, as I was reading the tag, recommending a local nursing home for him to spent his remaining days, continually dosed to bring on the symptoms of Alzheimer’s.

I ordered an end to the poisoning and he was returned home.  He died some years later without ever having exhibited symptoms of dementia again, not after being removed from the treatment of the gang of vipers who hoped to steal him from the world.  This was a very nice person who deserved much better.

I often hear of “socialism.”  Would it end people dying on the sidewalks?  Would it end hospitals poisoning patients for profit?  Would it end the endless misdiagnosis, the use of expensive prescription drugs rushed through falsified testing that have killed thousands if not more?

The real American question is simple.  Is health care a human right the same as education, clean water and clean air, things Americans fought against the GOP and the bandit industrialsts and Wall Street Bankers to get for a hundred years?

America is a land of secrets.  Who knows what diseases we can cure, certainly enough of the rich live decades longer than others.  Physically, Dick Cheney died at 38.  How many in the world would be alive and well if nature, at that time, had taken its course?

Want a car that gets 100 mpg on the highway?  Go to Britain and rent one.

Want an airliner that flies on one tenth the fuel of even the 787 Dreamliner by Boeing?  DARPA, America’s “Defense” secret treasury classified that commercial marvel in 1988.  It is real and, not only that, it makes planes much safer.

We are busy filling the world with radiation, watching birth levels plunge, monsters born every minute while we pour depleted uranium out of our weapons, in particular the 30mm gun of the Apache helicopter and Warthog A 10 aircraft.

The effective range of these weapons, each round costing enough to buy a good automobile, is 1500 meters.  Years ago, a “mag-lev” weapons system, easily adaptable to the same aircraft was developed.

It fired a small titanium bolt.  It’s effective range is 12,000 meters with much greater impact and penetration, in fact it’s kinetic energy and velocity is nearly limitless.

However, it is not manufactured from worthless nuclear waste, spews no poisonous radiation and would, of course, increase the effect range of these systems by 800 percent.   Thus, the range of the Apache is only a small portion of its capability as are many systems, all of which depend of the use of depleted uranium, from the M1 Abrams tank to many small arms, all killing those who use them and those who pass the vicinity of their use, even months later.

Replacing the DU 120mm saboted round of the Abrams with a “mag-lev” would allow range to be limited only by line of sight, the horizon.

Then again, we become capability driven and never ask why, why kill at 12,000 meters or why call a medical system “socialism” when it supplies a basic human right.

Doesn’t the Declaration of Independence guarantee “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” and describe these as “inalienable rights.”

In order for some to get a degree of health care, it was necessary to cut deals, bail out crooked insurance companies for billions, put billions more dollars into interest bearing accounts in the hands of racketeers who are the heart of the Republican Party who now, after negotiating their gallon of our blood, then turn around and want the other two pints?  More truthfully, the figure “billions” should be replaced with “trillions.”  Some insurance companies hold private debt in excess of $100 trillion.

The founding fathers were very clear on this, there is a no more understandable than the term “inalienable.”  If you can take someone’s life through denying them health care, you are killing them, a right denied very clearly.  Constitutionally, this denies both issues of “equal opportunity” and “due process.”

In truth, the GOP position is pure communism.

This last week, Jerry Mazza sent me an article that describes how California Republican, Representative Issa, who is supposedly investigating Operation Fast and Furious was proven to actually be working for Goldman Sachs, where he has vast personal investments and has a “stealth” Goldman Sachs employee with a changed name on his staff.

The people of Iceland have expressed themselves toward this kind of criminality.  The following video may offer the only possible peaceful way out for the American people:

[youtube 8-SiYQ8s_6I]

The Bush era derivative practices that bankrupted the US and EU and now being pushed by Issa backed by money from Goldman Sachs and a smokescreen accusing throwing wild accusations against the president for a failed gun program which, were we to tell what I know to be the truth, would it have succeeded, have found some of Mitt Romney’s secret Bain clients for his overseas numbered bank accounts.

That’s who the guns went to.

Here, from Mazza’s article:

As reporter Lee Fang writes in, Think Progress reports “Exclusive: Goldman Sachs VP Changed His Name, Now Advances Goldman Lobbying Interests As Top Staffer To Darrell Issa Report.”

Fang reported, “ThinkProgress has found that a Goldman Sachs vice president changed his name, then later went to work for Issa to coordinate his effort to thwart regulations that affect Goldman Sachs’ bottom line.” The former Goldman Sachs vice president Fang was referring to is Peter Simonyi, now known as Peter Haller.

Imagine that for a minute, a Goldman Sachs operative as a top congressional staffer, lobbying for Goldman Sachs, in this case to block strengthening Dodd-Frank regulations on derivatives. Issa’s wish is exactly the banks’ wish, to weaken the legislation so Wall Street’s Derivatives Casino can keep its stakes up.

Fang asks, “Has Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) turned the House Oversight Committee into a bank lobbying firm with the power to subpoena and pressure government regulators?”

In fact, “In July, Issa sent a letter to top government regulators demanding that they back off and provide more justification for new margin requirements for financial firms dealing in derivatives. A standard practice on Capitol Hill is to send a letter to a government agency with contact information for the congressional staffer responsible for working on the issue for the committee. In most cases, the contact staffer is the one who actually writes such letters. With this in mind, it is important to note that the Issa letter ended with contact information for Peter Haller, a staffer hired this year to work for Issa on the Oversight Committee.”

Pretty diabolical scheme: deflect Issa’s corrupt lobbying techniques to emasculate oversight, by ferreting out a DOJ scandal to cover the Democrats with the Fast and Furious scandal, burying the larger scandal of planting a Goldman operative in Congress to lobby for soft laws on derivatives. The Fast and Furious scandal is nowhere near the magnitude of the Goldman Sachs operative scandal, with the add-on that Goldman is trying to get the U.S. attorney general held in contempt and discredit Obama for using his presidential override of the charge.

I can give you 20 dozen GOP congressmen, all of whom have received either narcotics payoffs, Wall Street cash or bucks from insurance companies, pharmaceutical cartels or the “for profit” hospital lobby, all payoffs to turn America into a living hell and to defecate on the constitution every day as has been their life’s ambition.

We have enough on so many, not just Issa and the other GOP’ers on his committee, but and endless number, national, state and local as well, tying them to drug cartels, money laundering and, in some cases, trafficking in minor children for sex.

But today, we are only taking a bit of time trying to explain the kind of animals who find it convenient to let people die while supporting industries that all went bankrupt and are operating on federal bail out money.

All medical insurance companies went “belly up” under Bush, they are all on welfare and are spending public money to payoff their GOP lobbyists to deny sick Americans victimized by them and their friends, the right to stay alive.

I would put them all up against a wall.
